Week 6 Pregnancy

Take 10% Off All Items with coupon code BOB10

Pregnancy is well on track by week 6 with the face of the baby developing at a rapid pace while you begin to experience the effect of the rising levels of pregnancy hormones in your blood. The heart of your baby now beats at 80 times per minute while the internal organs like the liver and kidneys begin to develop.

The baby now begins to develop a chin, jaw, eyes, ears and even the nose and in a few weeks from now your baby will have a ‘face’. The size of your baby is miniscule at a quarter of an inch measured from crown to rump. These are early days and you will not be able to measure your baby crown to heel as the developing legs are bent.

Although you will have an increasing nausea and aversion for food beginning this week you will need to ensure that you take a balanced diet and may even break up your eating into multiple small meals spaced at regular intervals.
