The causes are varied and could well include some or more of these:
Hormonal changes typical of pregnancy
History of taking birth control or hormonal pills
Frequent vaginal intercourse
High levels of blood sugar



Yeast infections during pregnancy are one of the commonest and is best characterized by the presence of a white and watery foul smelling discharge from the vagina.
